Monica Raiola was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1963.
She was initiated in Fine Arts by Malena Trossolino and continued her studies under the direction of Haydee Calandrelli.
She was awarded a degree in Fine Arts from the National School of Arts Manuel Belgrano, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Monica Raiola also studied Performing Arts with Ricardo Bartis. As a theatre actress she has been involved in several international theatre festivals both in Argentina and abroad.
